I love when someone steps in front of my camera for the very first time! There is something amazing about knowing I get to create an experience that goes beyond the photos themselves. To hand back images that feel like a revelation, proof of beauty you may not have seen in yourself until now.
You will not have to think about a thing because I will guide the entire session so you can relax and be present. Getting photos taken can feel overwhelming, but this is where I specialize. My years of experience have taught me how to hold space for even the most nervous of clients, guiding gently, keeping things light, and making the process feel natural so you can actually enjoy being photographed. We will end with photos you never could have expected, the kind that feel true to you and your story.
What if I feel nervous in front of the camera?
There is no need to overthink. Choose outfits that feel like you and let you move comfortably. Neutral tones and textures often photograph beautifully, but what matters most is that you feel yourself in them.
I’ll share guidance ahead of time so you feel ready, but the best preparation is simply showing up as you are.
How should I prepare for my session?
I will be there to guide you the whole time, but never in a way that feels stiff or forced. I’ll give you gentle direction and little prompts that let things unfold naturally, while still making sure you look your best.
You do not need to think about a single pose. That part is mine to handle. Your only job is to relax, enjoy the moment, and let yourself be seen.
Will you tell me how to pose?
Anywhere that feels like home to you. Some people choose their own space, a studio. others a favorite trail, a quiet field, or a hidden corner of the city. We’ll choose a location together that reflects your story and feels natural for the kind of photos you want to create.
Where do photoshoots usually happen?
Weather can shift the mood of a session, but it never has to ruin it. Overcast skies often create the softest, most cinematic light, and a little wind or drizzle can bring unexpected beauty to your photos. If the forecast looks truly unworkable, we’ll reschedule for a day that feels right. Either way, you will be taken care of and end up with photos you love.
What if the weather doesn’t cooperate?
